Erasmus University Rotterdam is an ambitious, enterprising and collaborative institute of higher education. Our mission is to generate knowledge at the highest academic level through pioneering, high-impact research and to provide academic, career-oriented education to aspiring undergraduates and post-graduates from around the world. In other words, we offer a place for leading academic research and excellent education. Our research programmes are driven by a strong focus on current social issues. These programmes are intensive, energising and, where possible, small-scale. Our valorisation activities aim to contribute substantially to business and industry, government, health care and education.
